CULTURE WHAT?? Make your voice heard!

Here you can find some questions and issues on which cultural observatories and researchers would like to reflect with you. This might be something totally new for you, or on the contrary you might have discussed about this with your friends, parents, teachers or colleagues… it doesn’t matter: answer, pose new questions, be provocative if you like, and share share share… Dialogue is always fruitful and all contributions and opinions are more than welcome!!

The discussion developed on this blog will be the starting point for one of the workshops of Thinking pot in Torino (September, 2010). This will help researchers to have a clearer look on contemporary culture, and policy makers to define new youth cultural policy lines which might suit better to your tastes, needs and wishes.

It’s YOUR TIME to make your voice heard!!

P.S.: wanna know what our research team thinks about youngsters' cultural consumptions? Have a look at our papers!

1 comment:

  1. Cultural consumptions appear today more and more customized and less predictable: the same person can easily get in touch with very varied contents by moving along random, and consequently often unpredictable, patterns of exploration. Users move agilely among very different contents (from a comic video on Youtube to a streaming TV series, from a cooking blog to a virtual visit to an archaeological site), following connections hard to foresee; social networks do not just reproduce the “real” social relationships, but even set up a “new sociality”. The distinction between “high” and “low” contents fades.

Many factors influence people’s experience of culture: country, school, tradition, the street where they live and the places they go to, society, family...

    ...what do YOU think?
